中国刻字艺术馆在山东威海开馆

中国刻字艺术馆在威海刘公岛正式开馆。这家艺术馆收藏了２００多幅国内刻字艺术的精品，免费对外开放。
据悉，现代刻字艺术集书法、美术、雕刻于一身，是最具中国特色的艺术形式之一。２０１１年，刘公岛以冠名承办山东省第二届刻字艺术展为契机，筹划建设中国刻字艺术馆。今年２月份，刻字艺术馆展陈工程启动，昨日正式开馆。
中国刻字艺术馆位于刘公岛铁码头附近，陈展面积６００多平方米，馆藏２００多幅刻字艺术精品，代表了国内刻字艺术的顶级水准，具有很高的艺术观赏性和强烈的视觉冲击力。这一场馆是利用修复后的英租时期蒸馏塔改造而成，实现了保护历史文化建筑与现代刻字艺术的完美融合，为今后修复利用岛内历史建筑积累了宝贵的经验。同时，这家艺术馆还将作为山东书协刻字艺术创作基地和曲阜师范大学书法学院刻字教学实践基地对外开放，逐步发展成为刻字艺术展览、研究、教学中心。
中国刻字艺术馆是刘公岛发展文化旅游的进一步探索。下一步，刘公岛将加紧推进中国高尔夫博物馆、接收台湾梅花鹿和长鬃山羊纪念馆两个场馆建设，打造内涵丰富的历史文化名岛。
